Outdoor Classics teak furniture is made from high-end marine grade plantation teak from Indonesia. Mortise and Tenon joinery is used in the manufacturing process. Adjoining pieces connect at a 90-degree angle for maximum stability. A square mortise hole is cut while one end of an adjoining piece is shaped as a rail (or tenon) cut to an exact fit into the mortise hole and glued into place. This means a sturdier piece of furniture whether it is a table, dining chair, chaise, or casual seating piece. Adjustable pieces use solid brass hardware which is both rustproof and adds to the ascetic charm of the piece.
